Cycling
The Béarn is rich in paths and roads for both the serious and the more relaxed
cyclist. There are hundreds of kilometres of tracks through various forests
and obviously many many kilometres of quiet roads (some of them flat!) on which
to explore the countryside. For the mountain biker, there are various marked
circuits nearby from 10km for children or the less experienced to more than
60km for the fitter cyclist. We have our own bicycle hire shop in Navarrenx.

If you prefer to shop, the towns of St Jean de Luz and the Basque seaside town of Biarritz with it's sea life museum, shops and restaurants are all here.

the Pic du Midi d'Ossau with 150 hectares open to winter sports. A well kept
freestyle space equpped with a sound system, entertaiment, half pipe, cross-country,
snow run and snow-board ...
Iraty In the heart of the largest deciduous forest in western Europe, the Iraty
resort combines beauty and serenity. In this majestic setting, cross-country
skiers can admire the breath-taking scenery of Iraty.
